I’ve spent the last 10 years working in a variety of roles within the health and fitness industry as a personal trainer, massage therapist, sports nutritionist, allied health assistant, sports club trainer, and now osteopath.
I have loved every role I’ve had within this industry as it’s allowed me to work with an incredible variety of people and establish fantastic relationships with patients and practitioners alike.
My goal as a trainer, coach, osteopath will always be to get as many people actively involved in their health as possible, within their individual capacity.
I take great pride in taking exercise beginners through their journey towards being self-guided and reliant. My purpose then as an osteopath is to keep them functioning optimally so they can enjoy their chosen activities.
I use a variety of techniques with my patients and enjoy combining exercise prescription and education with hands-on osteopathic techniques such as;
My aim in every treatment is to help my patients perform better, not only on the sporting field, but also in their general activities of daily living. Education is hugely important for me, and if a patient can leave each treatment with a new skill or increased confidence in managing their own health and well-being, I feel like I’ve done my job well.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me training for my first triathlon in 2020, playing social basketball with friends, or drinking coffee with a good book.
